Allotments

‘Grow your way to five a day’! This seems to be the motto for more and more families in Drinkstone.

We have 2 allotment sites: Gedding Road with 14 plots of various sizes, and Rattlesden Road with 7 plots. Water is piped into both sites.

The price per plot is £15 a year for a single plot and £24 for a double plot including the cost of water. So one crop of beans will more than cover your rent!

There is only one qualification for becoming an allotment holder – you just have to live in Drinkstone!

The allotments are managed by the Allotments Charity. There are three trustees who oversee the running of the sites. If you are an existing allotment holder and have any questions or concerns about the sites, please contact the trustees in the first instance:
